Linking Capabilities
There are a variety of linking options available for AbeBooks affiliate program:
- There will always be up-to-date banner and text links in ConnectCommerce. Log into ConnectCommerce, click Get Links and view Available Links for AbeBooks.
- You may Build Your Own Links (BYOL) through the ConnectCommerce interface. In the Get Links area, choose Build Your Own Link for AbeBooks to create links one at a time. If you would like to create many links at once, choose upload your own links. You will be able to download a spreadsheet template that you can complete and upload to ConnectCommerce. You will receive an email reply containing a spreadsheet with all of the links you have created.
- You may also build your own links through the AbeBooks Deep Linking tool, which should be configured for Google Affiliate Network (formerly DoubleClick Performics) mid-May 2008.
Changing Existing Deep Links
Links that were created using the AbeBooks Deep Linking tool with their CJ PID can be updated by using the structure below:
Simply exchange this:
http://www.dpbolvw.net/click-CJPID-7134912?url=
with this
http://clickserve.cc-dt.com/link/tplclick?lid=41000000024289215
&pubid=REPLACE-ME&redirect
where REPLACE-ME is your Performics Publisher ID.
For example, for a link going to Cujo by Stephen King:
